Well its time to look at the stats again. Its never a better time to look over the world's top poker players before a big game. And we all know the WSOP final table is finally only days away. Its great to see my favorite player still holding on to the top spot. Seidel's year has been one for the record books. But there has been a little movement among the scores.
As reported by GPI:
- #2 Eugene Katchalov 2518.15
- #4 Bertrand Grospellier 2425.51
- #6 Shawn Buchanan 2331.45
- #7 Fabrice Soulier 2231.63
- #8 Thomas Marchese 2058.11
Jason Mercier moved into third place this week after sitting at number four for quite a number of weeks. This is due to his final table appearance at the Mixed NLHE. Mercier is having quite a year himself.
Matt Waxman reached the top ten this week for the first time. He won this year's WPT in Paris and continues to build up his points. This young Floridian has four first pace finishes to his name and 34 cash finishes. All indications are next week will bring more movement in the GPI stars.
