22 year old Brit Sam Holden is a favorite to win this year's WSOP. He is making the transition from online to offline play and apparently doing it quite well.
Holden went from a successful online player to the sweetheart poker player of the UK. He was a big player on PokerStars and Full Tilt like so many other pros. His online name is “SamDMND.” Holden has only played poker in a professional capacity for one year. Talk about a great way to start out. Here are some recent stats:

Sam Holden studied forensic science at university in Kent, England. During his time at college Holden was introduced to the world of poker. Like many professional poker players, Holden chose not to finish college. Officially unemployed ,jealously of Holden's early success has made for media fodder across the pond. But Holden's happy go lucky approach has ensured his popularity among his countrymen.
So will this floppy haired Brit take home the bracelet this week? I think he has a good chance. Hopefully this young player's lucky streak continues and that short stack brings home the bracelet.
