Who is Phil Hellmuth?
Phil Hellmuth is not world renowned to just anyone walking down the street but he sure is well known and popular among the world’s poker players and the world’s poker fans. Hellmuth is nicknamed The Poker Brat and resides in Palo Alto, California. Hellmuth is in his mid 40s but is one of the best known poker players on the planet today. He has become so successful by winning plenty of big name poker tournaments while also hosting quite a few poker television shows.
Hellmuth has also produced and starred in his own instructional poker videos and has written quite a few articles for Cardplayer magazine. Hellmuth has also written quite a few poker books of his own. The books that have been written by Hellmuth include the following:

Hellmuth is also a poker coach on Fox Sports Net’s Best Damn Poker Show as well as being the host on Bravo TV’s Celebrity Poker Showdown. Hellmuth has acquired the reputation of an extraordinary poker player while also garnering the personality of being a little bit hot headed and a bit of a sore loser when he does not pick up a win. Hellmuth attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for only three years. He dropped out of school early to begin playing poker on a full-time basis. During his popular and well known career Hellmuth has yet to win a World Poker Tour tournament but has cashed in 10 times and been to the final table three times.
