Top 10 Poker Television Shows

This is the first article of six detailing the top 10 poker television shows being aired today. Hopefully you have seen some of these shows but if you haven’t maybe you will give them a look after reading these articles. Each article will detail two of the top 10 shows that focus on poker. Number 10 on the list is the Ultimate Poker Challenge and Number 9 on the list is E! Hollywood Hold’em.

The television show the Ultimate Poker Challenge is a nationally syndicated show in the United States that is beginning its fourth season. The first couple of seasons of the show are available on DVD today in stores. The name of the show has been changed to Ultimate Poker Challenge Present Cash Poker: The Ultimate Gamble.

The number nine show on our list is E! Hollywood Hold’em. This show was extremely short lived; it only aired in 2005. Basically, celebrities or other members of Hollywood, would host hold’em tournaments in their homes. The winners of the tournaments would take home $10,000. Other members of Hollywood include producers, directors, and writers. Laura Prepon, Danny Masterson, and Chris Masterson were some of the famous actors that hosted hold’em tournaments in their homes. Prepon and Danny Masterson became famous as cast members of That 70’s Show.

Part two of our six part series detailing the top 10 poker television shows will discuss shows number eight and number seven. Those shows are Tilt and Mansionpoker.net Poker Dome Challenge. All ten of the shows on our top 10 list are either currently airing or have aired at least two episodes.
